의학전문대학원 3학년 최진아 학생이 2017. 4. 21- 27 미국 시카고 Experimental Biology 2017 학회에서 구연 및 포스터 발표에 참가하여 Finalist에 진출했습니다.
연구 결과가 구연발표 대상으로 선정되어 Diet and cancer 세션에서 “Walnut Phenolic Extracts Induced Metabolic Reprogramming in Colon Cancer Stem Cells by Reinforcing the Mitochondrial Function: from RNA-seq to Mitochondrial Stress Test”라는 주제로 4월 24일 월요일에 구연발표 시행하였습니다.
제출한 초록은 the highest scoring research로 선정되어 학회 참석 전 학회에서
통보 받았으며, 이에 4월 22일 “Emerging
Leaders in Nutrition Science” 세션에 포스터 발표도 진행하였습니다.

Recognized as a Finalist in Emerging Leaders in Nutrition Science Competition]

2017 – Jina Choi has been named a finalist in the American Society for
Nutrition’s (ASN) Emerging Leaders in Nutrition Science Competition, an event
that recognizes the highest scoring research presented by students and young
investigators at ASN’s Scientific Sessions and Annual Meeting at Experimental
Biology 2017.
More than
1,000 abstracts were submitted by students and postdoctoral fellows and the
Emerging Leaders in Nutrition Science Competition aims to recognize the top 20%
highest scoring abstracts as finalists. Abstracts were rated by more than 400
nutrition scientists. Ms. Choi’s abstract is titled Walnut Phenolic Extracts
Induced Metabolic Reprogramming in Colon Cancer Stem Cells by Reinforcing the
Mitochondrial Function: from RNA-seq to Mitochondrial Stress Test.
All
finalists will compete in a poster competition to be held Saturday, April 22
from 5:00 – 7:00 pm in the Hall F Swing Space of the McCormick Place Convention
Center. Grand prize winners in more than 16 research areas will be identified
and receive travel awards.
The
Emerging Leaders in Nutrition Science Competition is being organized by ASN’s
Research Interest Sections, Global Nutrition Council and Medical Nutrition
Council and sponsored by The Coca-Cola Company.
